BetMGM Poker Welcome 2022 With Double Trouble Series

The Double Trouble Series is the BetMGM Poker’s first online poker event of 2022. The event will begin on Friday, Jan 21st, and continue for ten days until Sunday, Jan 30th.

New BetMGM Online Poker Tournament Coming SoonThe Double Trouble Series will be organized in three states: Michigan, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. Each BetMGM Poker schedule has 20 events, but each event will be divided into two versions, having a total of 40 different tournaments in each of the states.

The first contest of the individual version has a regular format, and the second contest is a knockout (PKO) tournament. The program is very similar in all three states, but with a few variations in terms of the prize pool.

The most significant event takes place in New Jersey, which guarantees $364,000 in 40 tournaments. It’s slightly different in Pennsylvania ($324,000) and Michigan ($334,000), which isn’t surprising considering that the last two poker rooms are online for almost a year.

Key Facts & Figures

  • 20 events, each event with standard and knockout version
  • Starts from Jan 21st and lasts 10 days until Jan 30th.
  • Ride the same schedule in NJ, MI, and PI.
  • The total amount of the guarantee is $364k (New Jersey), $334k (Michigan), and $324k (Pennsylvania).

Mostly, the tournaments on the proposal are very reasonable, with 24 of the 40 events having purchases of fifty dollars or less. Larger funds with prices up to 535 dollars are also supported.

All games have an endless wagering time and are basically unlimited Hold ’em, but for Omaha lovers, #10 and #17 events offer four opportunities to play Pot-limit Omaha.

More about the Schedules

Events kick off with $109 No-Limit Hold’em tournaments and offer $10k guaranteed in all states. The next highlight of the show is Event #5, two $215 contests that guarantee $25k in Michigan and Pennsylvania and $30k in New Jersey.

The highest purchase for Event #9 is $535 No-Limit Hold’em tournaments in every format with a $15k prize in all states.

Although there isn’t an official main event, Sunday’s next-to-last game on Jan 30th is a must-see: a couple more $215 tournaments, again with a total bonus of $25k in Pennsylvania and Michigan and $30k in New Jersey.

The BetMGM Series is Going Massive and Fast

BetMGM Poker has built a strong reputation for its large and reliable series. Double Trouble is the 4th online event hosted by the BetMGM in the past two months.

November’s End Boss Series, led by Darren Elias, had a lot of prize money in the Main Event, with the NJ Premier League raising over $42k.

In addition, there was a Cheap Stakes tournament with lower purchases for smaller budgets during the holiday season. It was immediately pursued by the partypoker network’s New Year Knockout mini-series.

BetMGM aims to deliver quality events, as it seeks PokerStars supremacy in the American market.

This last tournament is another excellent example. The prize pools are perfect, and users should be looking for overlays, but the challenging work and determination of the moderators must be noted. And if the series continues into 2022, it will definitely bring in more users.

The Double Trouble Series runs from Friday, Jan 21st, through Sunday, Jan 30th, 2022.
